Midwest Swine Nutrition Conference
Midwest Swine Nutrition Conference cover topics related to global animal agriculture and food outlook and sow mortality and longevity. Recent research on amino acid needs of sows for reproduction and milk yield and copper sources and levels will further highlight sow nutrition. Other research topics include piglet gut health and the use of glutamine to alleviate transport stress. We will also have a discussion on the strategic use of antibiotics and other products to maintain animal health while addressing the consumer’s interest in reduced antibiotic use in food animals. This conference is directed toward the feed industry, consulting nutritionists, swine veterinarians, and producers interested in cutting-edge swine nutrition and feeding concepts.
